James (Darrell) Jasper

James (Darrell) Jasper, 52, of Pinnacle, passed away on October 6, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Jasper was born on October 2, 1970, in Columbus Ohio, to Mitchell Darrell Jasper and the late Faye Senters Jasper.

He worked as a coal miner. Darrell enjoyed 49ers football, NASCAR, and spending time with family.

Mr. Jasper is survived by three children, Mark Jasper, Arielle Jasper, and Lucas Jasper; father, Mitchell Darrell Jasper; brothers, George Cross and Paul Cross; sister, Donna Byars, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, James was predeceased by sisters-in-law, Tina Michelle Cross and Anna Cross; and brother-in-law, Kevin Byars.

A graveside service will be conducted on October 18, 2022 at 2:00pm at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Gerald Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service.
