James "Ronnie" Lynch Obituary

Mr. James “Ronnie” Lynch, age 67, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on November 19, 2022 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

He was born on October 11, 1955, in Stokes County, to the late Millard Eugene Lynch and Opal Mills Lynch.

Mr. Lynch owned and operated Lynch Grading for numerous years and was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, and operating heavy equipment, but most importantly, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Willard Lynch; son, Chad Lynch and wife, Tiffany; daughter, Sunnie Godbey; stepson, Allan Childress and wife, Leona; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Linda Lynch Chilton.

In addition to his parents Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by his brother, Delmo Lynch and brother-in-law, Larry Chilton.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 2:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robbie Sizemore officiating. The family will receive visitors from 12:45pm-1:45pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at Brim’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Lynch’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the Woltz Hospice Home and the staff at the Forsyth Medical Center ICU.
