Janie Marie (Niten) Booth

Mrs. Janie Niten Booth, age 76, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on January 23, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

She was born on September 19, 1947, in Patrick County to the late William Lawrence and Eunice Marie Niten.

Mrs. Booth was an excellent cook, she enjoyed traveling, living life, and having fun.

She is survived by her son, James “Paul” Booth (Amber); daughter, Beverly O’Neal (Chad); grandchildren, Karleigh, Kurtis, Andrew, and Luis; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Aizen, Nolan, and Elliott.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Booth was preceded in death by her husband, James William Booth Jr.

Visitation will be conducted January 26th, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00pm. A funeral service will follow at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Reverend Vivian Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pilot City Cemetery.
