Jean Flinchum Obituary
Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Haworth Flinchum, 77, of Pilot Mountain, passed from this world to the next on September 8, 2020, at her home. Jean was born September 16, 1942 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to Don and Elizabeth Haworth. Jean enjoyed her grandchildren most of all but also loved to draw, write, and do crafts, producing beautiful results. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Carl G. Flinchum.; three sons, Steven, Robert, and Michael Paddock; six grandchildren, Carl, Stephanie, Nicole, Mason, Trent, and Travis Paddock; and two great- grandchildren, Cora and Ryker Zagorski.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel at 822 W. Main Street Pilot Mountain, NC with the Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.
Mrs. Flinchum will lie in state beginning Wednesday, September 9, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM; Thursday and Friday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM; and on Saturday from 8:30 AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM.
Interment will follow in Whitaker’s Chapel Church Cemetery, 751 Whitaker Chapel Road, Pilot Mountain, NC.
