Jessica Anne Taylor

Miss Jessica Anne Taylor, age 45, of Chicago, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2023.

She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 8th, 1978, the daughter of Roger L and Penny R Taylor.

She was a graduate of East Surry High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from UNCW and later earned her Masters Degree in Education from DePaul University.

She is survived by her parents, Roger L. and Penny R. Taylor; sister, Jennifer and Joe Brock; brother, Joshua and Stephanie Taylor; nephews, Caleb Taylor, Dylan Brock, and Lucas Taylor; nieces, Abigail Brock and Brittany Leftwich; aunt, Cathy Roberts; and a special friend Bob Hall of Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William Lee and Nonnie Taylor; maternal grandparents, Claude (Daddy Rabbit) and Ruby Roberts; and an uncle and aunt, J.B. and Barbara Taylor.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at 2:00pm at The Peoples Church located at 218 Gospel Time Way, Mount Airy, North Carolina 27030 with Pastor Eddie W. Sawyers officiating the service.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the church.
