Born March 8, 1929 in Carroll county, Va., she was the daughter of Bozzie and Effie Lawson Jessup. Growing up on a farm taught Faye strong work ethic, which she followed throughout her life and a thirty-year career at Hanes Hosiery. She managed to always grow a garden, can and preserve her harvests, and share with her family and neighbors. Tending her vegetable gardens, her flower beds and spending time with her grandchild and great grandchildren were sources of comfort and joy to Faye, as was attending church. Her cheerfulness and thoughtful nature will be so deeply missed.
