Jill Marie (Cardwell) Hayden

Jill Marie Hayden, age 58, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on June 11, 2023, at her residence.

She was born on July 15, 1964, in Forsyth County to Lelia Sprinkle Cardwell and the late James Cardwell.

Jill spent her working years in the manufacturing industry as a machine operator, where she was an extremely hard worker. Jill loved to plant and take care of flowers and would spend all day doing so when there was an opportunity.  She also enjoyed trips to the beach, riding motorcycles, listening to music, and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.  Most of all, Jill was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amber Miclat with husband Philip; long-time partner, Ron Laberge; mother, Lelia Cardwell; sisters, Marcia Strickland and Tracey McNeill with husband Keith; brother, Donnie Cardwell; stepchildren, Erica Duncan with husband Brandon and Ronnie Laberge with wife Meagan; grandchildren, Kayden, Kynleigh, Taylor, Lilli, Maddie, Mason, and Maverick; nephews, Brandon Dull with wife Sara and son Parker, Bryce Jones, and Jeremy Gaither; niece Megan Downham and husband Tom; numerous cousins and friends; and her dog, Skylar.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, James Cardwell.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 2:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel with Josh Crow officiating. The family will receive visitors after the service.
