Jimmie Wade Anderson

Jimmie Wade Anderson, 85, of Mt Airy, NC, born February 6, 1936, passed away November 19, 2021.  He was the son of Wade and Sarah Overby Anderson.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Sarah Overby Anderson:  two brothers, Julius Anderson, and Johnnie Anderson:  two sisters, Janice Wills, and Jeanette Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters:  Jane Hodge of Pinnacle, NC , and Judy Lynch of King, NC; one brother, James Anderson of Rocky Top ,TN; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

He attended Old Rugged Cross Baptist Church in Mt Airy, NC.

Jimmie thoroughly enjoyed reading, talking to people, and going to the flea market.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Cox- Needham Funeral Home at 1 pm.  Interment will be held later at Closer Walk Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Pastor Roger Brown will be officiating.
