Jimmy Clyde Eads, 75, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Born June 16, 1945, he was the son of Willie and Pearl Ring Eads. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Phyllis Shelton Eads; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Dale Eads (Alicia Meadows), Dean (Joan) Eads; two sisters, Joann Dezarn, Carolyn Scott; and five grandchildren, Lindsey Eads(James) LaPrade, Mackenzie Eads, Dakota Eads, Destiny Eads and step-grand, Ashley McGee; a sister-in-law, Dot Eads; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Snow.
Mr. Eads was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arnold and Bobby Eads; a sister, Gay Snow; and a brother-in-law, Samuel Dezarn.
An avid outdoorsman, Jimmy loved hunting and fishing. He also looked forward to outings and special occasions with his family and friends.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Stanford United Methodist Church. D. C. Collins and Will Eads will be officiating the service. Mr. Eads will lie in state from 1:00-3:00 prior to service at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted, and memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice at 401 Technology Lane, Ste. 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
The family asks that all attending, please wear face masks and practice social distancing in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If running a fever or not feeling well, we ask you to refrain from attending.
