John "Wade" Joyce

John "Wade" Joyce, age 69, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Wade was born on July 22, 1955, in Forsyth County to the late Paul Herman Joyce and Margaret Marie Adams Joyce. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful friend whose quiet strength and kind heart touched the lives of many.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Anita Faye Carter Joyce; his son, Jason Andrew Joyce; his daughter, Anna Marie Joyce and her husband, David Thomas McGee; two cherished grandchildren, Alistair Winston Joyce McGee and Wren Elizabeth Joyce McGee; his brother, Rev. David Joyce and wife Brenda; and his sister, Linda Marie Fulp and husband David. In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by his brother, Junior Joyce.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at True Word Baptist Church, with Rev. David Joyce officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
