Julie Athalee Hall, 70, of Pilot Mountain went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Ms. Hall was born December 5, 1948 in Stuart, Virginia. She was a devoted mother, sister, daughter and nannie. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Branch and wife Debra of Mayodan; step-sister Jackie Horsley of Westfield; her four children, Alisa and husband Randy Magaraci of Mount Airy, Nyoka Cromer of King, Allec Hall of Pilot Mountain and James Hall of Pilot Mountain. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Brooke and husband John Gibbings, Lindsay Holt, Megan and husband Christopher Collins, Shannon Cromer, Laura Cromer, Breeanna and Deeanna McAtee-Hall, Connor Hall-Mills, Gage Black and Kennedy Hall. Great grandchildren; Madisyn Cromer, Tanner and Hunter Collins,and Paisley Gibbings. Several nieces, nephews and family friends. Ms. Hall was preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Geneva Horsley, Sisters; Rebecca Branch and Teresa Barnette, Brother Dennis Horsley, son-in-law Paul Cromer and granddaughter Ashley Cromer. A very special thanks to the staff of Mountain Valley Living Center and the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their loving care. The Hall family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
