Karen Sue (Brown) Venable
Obituary
Karen Sue Venable, age 62, of King, passed away on June 23, 2023, at Village Care of King.
She was born on March 31, 1961, in Stokes County, to the late John Elmer Brown and Betty Jean Booth Brown.
Karen worked as a vet assistant and her love of animals was evident in the organizations that she supported: the Humane Society of the United States, North Shore Animal Rescue, Greyhound Rescue, and the World Wildlife Federation.
In addition to her parents Karen was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Venable.
A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 1st, 2023, at 1:00pm at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Darryl Vestal officiating. Visitation will take place from 12:00pm-1:00pm inside the church.
