Kenneth Eugene Cunningham Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Eugene Cunningham Sr, age 73, of Westfield, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was born on April 15, 1952, in Raleigh County, West Virginia, to the late Holroyd Jack Cunningham and Anola Mae Pegram Cunningham.

Kenneth was the proud owner of Ken’s Roofing, where he worked hard and built a reputation for quality and dedication. He also faithfully served his country as a proud United States Marine. During his time of service, he was a member of the Marine rifle squad, he guarded President Nixon and was honored with the National Defense Service Medal.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jennifer Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, and Kenneth Cunningham Jr; his grandchildren, Alexis, Javonte, Jabari, and Anastasia; his fiancée, Rebecca Hawks; and his stepdaughters, Haley Hawks and Monica Hawks.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 1 pm with a Funeral Service following an hour later, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Farley Hill Cemetery in Princewick, West Virginia.
