Kurt Warren Wright

Mr. Kurt Warren Wright, age 56, of Davidson, North Carolina, passed away on August 5th, 2023, at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He was born on October 14th, 1966, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, and was the son of the late Warren “Bud” T. Wright and Lorraine Wieland Wright.

He was a graduate of Eastern University in Michigan where he received his bachelor’s degree in teaching. He taught school for many years in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. He was an avid sports person, following the University of Michigan football, the NFL Detroit Lions, NBA Piston basketball team, the Redwings hockey team and liked the University of Carolina college football team. He liked reading comics, watching movies all the Marval comic hero’s and listening to Christian music.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Cassandra Wright; son, Adam Wright; sister, Shannon Stewart and numerous other family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy “Tim” Wright.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 4th, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 11:00am. Interment will follow the service at Pilot City Cemetery.
