Mr. Landon Scott Bennett, age 23, of Pinnacle, passed away at his home on September 1, 2022.
Landon was born on March 30, 1999, to his father, Christopher Scott Bennett, and his mother, Tina Long DeLuca.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving father, Christopher, and wife, Dorothy Bennett; his mother, Tina DeLuca; his precious daughter, Adrienne Bennett; sisters, Keerstin Bennett and Emma Bennett; brother, Jordan Lynch; two step-brothers and a step-sister, Christian Mozingo, Charlie Herring and Peggy Herring; grandparents, Ronnie and Beverly Bennett; aunts and uncle, Pamela and Gary Gibson and Tara Bennett; great aunts and uncles, Debby and Andrew Smith, Jeffrey Marshall, Dennis and Lynda Bennett, and J. D. and Denise Bennett; and cousin, Ethan Bennett.
Landon was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jesse and Edith Marshall and R. J. and Nora Bennett.
Landon had a heart of gold. He made you feel special from the moment you met him and was often referred to as “my best friend” or “my only friend.” He was very compassionate and cared deeply for people and animals. He gravitated toward the homeless, the elderly, the handicapped, and fought for the underdog, those, who have hurt the most. He could often be found sitting with his arm around or holding the hands of a homeless person sharing his faith or assisting the elderly. He had the “eyes of a child” and saw the world with childlike joy, curiosity and wonder.
He was a gifted musician, artist, and writer. Landon shared the love of Jesus in his love and actions for others. He made the world a better place and will be so greatly missed by many.
