Lillian "Estelle" (Sams) Gordon

Mrs. Lillian "Estelle" Sams Gordon, 82, of Pinnacle passed away at her home on Sunday, October 25, 2020. Estelle was born on February 1, 1938 to John Wesley and Lillian Irene Shepherd Sams. Estelle was married to Mr. Eugene Gordon, she worked in the textile industry as long as her health permitted and graduated with honors from Pinnacle High School.

Estelle enjoyed working in her flowers and loving on her cats.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Eugene Gordon, children, Michael Gordon and Robin Hardy; her brothers, Lloyd (Joanna) Sams and Glen (Ellen) Sams; grandchildren, Jessica Thomas and Joshua “Nathan” Hardy; great-grandchildren, Shyln, Vivian, Abel and Colten, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Alvin Sams, Carlos Sams and Franklin D. Sams and two sisters, Shirley Fulk and Jenny Lyons.

Mrs. Gordon will be laid to rest in a graveside service on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of King cemetery with Rev. Paul Norman officiating.
