Lisa Jane Mitchem

Lisa Jane Mitchem, age 56, of Pinnacle, passed away on March 25th, 2023 at her home.

She was born on November 8, 1966, in Baltimore, Maryland to Edgar Mitchem and Sarah Null Mitchem.

Lisa was a very happy person and, according to her family, she “loved everything”.  She enjoyed watching television and her favorite programs were Scooby-Doo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Daniel Tiger and Friends, and Dinosaur Train. Lisa loved animals, especially donkeys and pink flamingos.

She is survived by her parents; sisters, Patricia Runge (Ross) and Debra Hobson; niece, Margaret Rimes; nephews, Mike Hobson, Shaun Hobson, David Sponaugle, and Justin Runge; great-nieces, Brianna Rimes, Regan Rimes, and Kayla Hobson; and great-nephews, Marcus Rimes and Kody Hobson.

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Mitchem; brother-in-law, Fred Hobson; nephew, Christopher Hobson; uncle, Richard Mitchem; and cousin, Tommy Mitchem.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 28th, 2023 at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
