Lora Lee (Friley) Reneau

Mrs. Lora Lee Reneau, age 82, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on March 17, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on January 1, 1941, in South Gate, California, to the late Leonard and Marguerite Evans Friley.

Mrs. Reneau worked as a receptionist in the tax field and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.  She enjoyed quilting and was passionate about the Lord, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Carl Reneau; daughters, Tina Pursch (Joseph), Cheryl Pacheco (Jose), Barbara Schlenker, and Jennifer Chelgren (Robert); grandchildren, Lora Atherton (Wesley), Audrie West (Tony), Rachael Louthan (Kyle), Clare Lembeck (Tom), Abigail Pursch, Joseph Pursch, Kevin Pacheco (Vanessa), Joseph Pacheco, Ian Schlenker, Joshua Schlenker, Jacob Chelgren, Erik Chelgren (Peyton), Ethan Chelgren, Emma Chelgren, and Matthew Chelgren; and great-grandchildren, Lois Lembeck, Liam Lembeck, and Bryce Pacheco.

In addition to her parents Mrs. Reneau was preceded in death by her son, Craig Scott Reneau; brother, Gary Friley; and nephew, Matthew Friley.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11am at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Joseph Pursch and Pastor Russell Billo officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
