Marilyn (Fleming) Bouldin

Mrs. Marilyn Gay Fleming Bouldin, age 79, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Woltz Hospice in Dobson, NC.

She was born on September 24, 1943 in Richmond, VA, to the late Arvil Flemming and Elizabeth Wilson.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Bouldin worked as a cook and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Ables (Cynthia Martin); granddaughter, Jessica Tilley (Michael); great-grandchildren, Hannah and Sawyer Tilley; step-children, Annette Wray; Jason and Christy Bouldin; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Gary Wilson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bouldin was predeceased by her husband, James Bouldin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Blue Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Martin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Indian Grove Family Cemetery in Mt. Airy.  Rev. Johnny Ables will be conducting the committal at the graveside.
