Mark Midkiff Obituary

Mr. Mark Allan Midkiff, 51, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. Mark was born on April 7, 1968 to Larry Raymond and Penny Delane Midkiff. He was, before his health failed, a volunteer fireman for The Pilot Knob Fire Department and worked in the telecommunications field with broadband. Mark enjoyed horses and motorcycles and loved to hunt and fish, he enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Penny Delane Midkiff; two sons, Colt (Tessa) Midkiff and Roby (Catherine) Midkiff; two sisters and brothers-in-law; Renee (Ray) Tilley and Penny (Chris) Lineberry, his beloved grandchildren, Nadyia and Camii Midkiff, Eleanora and Aurora Midkiff, and Austin Southerland; nieces, Gracie Tilley and Layla Lineberry; nephews, Bryson Tilley and Preston Lineberry.

Mr. Midkiff was preceded in death by his father, Larry Raymond Midkiff.

A graveside service will be held at Friendly Chapel Church Cemetery on Monday, March 23, 2020 at 2:00PM with Bro. D.C. Collins and Bro. Ryan Whitt officiating.

The family would like to extend it's heartfelt thanks for The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice home and Forsyth Hospital, 8th floor staff, for taking such loving and kind care of Mark during his illness. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to The Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.
