Martha Ferguson Obituary

Ms. Martha Lea Ferguson, age 63, of Westfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Ms. Ferguson was born on December 2, 1958, in North Carolina to the late Edward Lee and Martha Edna Walker Ferguson.

Martha spent 23 years as a CNA often assisting with home health and hospice, she loved helping others, and would give whatever she had to help someone in need. She was a Christian woman who attended Freedom and Liberty Church in Pilot Mountain and loved her church family. Martha had an amazing sense of humor and was full of joy often spreading it to those around her and finding the bright side to life and enjoyed the sunshine and being in nature. Martha loved spending time with her family and was loved by nearly everyone who met her. Some of her favorite things to do were reading books, especially bible study and Christian Literature, and she absolutely loved music, of any genre but especially gospel and Christian music. She will be missed by not only her family, but by everyone who had the pleasure of getting to know her.

Ms. Martha Lea Ferguson is survived by her sons, Charles Hiatt and Whitney Moore; and her daughter Maranda Patterson; two sisters, Sherry Adkins and Nancy Wilmoth, as well as four grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.
