Mrs. Mary Ruth Shinault Brooks, age 78, of Siloam, passed away on November 14th, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 23rd, 1946, in Surry County, to the late Johnny Lee Shinault and Aline Tenie Shinault.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Mary Lou Hudson; son, Harold Junior Hudson; son, Ronald Gray Hudson; sister, Geneva Inman; grandchildren, Latisha Atkins, Lee (Candy) Lineberry, Summer Atkins, Veronica (Justin) Lewis, Misty Spainhour; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 special great-grandson; 4 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Pastor Richard Blevins officiating. Pastor Gary & Denise Snow will be providing music for the services. Interment will follow the service at Turkey Ford Baptist Church.
