Mrs. Mary Ann Wall, age 79, of Dobson, passed away on February 12, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born on November 17, 1943, in Surry County to the late Monroe Bledsoe and Vera Galyean Bledsoe.
Mrs. Wall’s favorite activities included going to the beach, fishing, gardening, and working outside with her blueberry bushes. When she was indoors, she enjoyed canning and crocheting. Most of all, she loved her family at home, her family at Level Cross United Methodist Church, and her pets, Bear and the bird, Fred.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, George Gray Wall; daughters, Dedra Gaines of Clemmons, Tammy Culler of Mount Airy with husband Mike, and Lisa Carey of Dobson with husband Bill; grandchildren, Derek Poindexter of Durham, Evan Culler of Durham, and Sarah Culler of Mount Airy; and siblings, Gloria Warden of Pilot Mountain, Alice Arrington of Pilot Mountain, and Tommy Bledsoe with wife Doris of Siloam; special aunt, Geneva Mabe of Siloam; several nieces and nephews; and many loving cousins.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Bledsoe, and sister, Barbara Cave.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Level Cross United Methodist Church with Rev. Wesley Hall and Rev. Danielle Voigt officiating. Mrs. Wall will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
