Melba J. (Smith) Reynolds

Mrs. Melba J. Reynolds, age 79, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on May 08, 1941 in Raleigh, NC to the late Ollie Smith and Bessie Lee Smith.

Before her retirement, Mrs. Reynolds worked for RJ Reynolds. She was of the holiness faith. Mrs. Reynolds was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife of 57 years.

She is survived by her children, Marvin Reynolds (Mary Jo); Bonnie Edwards; and Cynthia Wilson (John); brothers, Dwight, Ronald Ollie; Teddy; and Timmy Smith; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reynolds was predeceased by her husband, Elmo Reynolds.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.  on Saturday, May 01, 2021 at Skyline Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Lee officiating.

Mrs. Reynolds will be lying in state Friday, April 30, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 01, 2021 from 8 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Due to the Covid-19 guideline, attendees are asked to practice social distancing and wear a mask.

The family would like to extend a heart filled thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice for the wonderful care Mrs. Reynolds received, while she was in their care.
