Melissa Florence "Flossie" (Dawkins) Jones

Mrs. Melissa Jones, age 65, of Pinnacle, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022, at her home.

She was born on July 9, 1957, in Rockingham, to the late Jack and Betty Ludlum Dawkins.

Mrs. Jones was employed as a social worker prior to her retirement.  She loved life, the birds in her yard, and animals in general.

She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Jones; son, Michael McQueen; stepson, Kendall Jones; granddaughter, Mia Jones; brothers, Perry and Jacky Dawkins, and her beloved dog, Oprah.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 2:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
