Michael Anthony Blakeley

Mr. Michael Anthony Blakeley, 42, of Rural Hall, NC passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. Michael was born to Mark Anthony and Geraldine Marion Blakeley on December 29, 1978. His carefree and fun-loving personality made him a favorite of friends and family. He was a joy to be around and loved by all who knew him. He loved dragons and had many items and replicas of them, even a tattoo of one.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Geraldine Marion Blakeley, a brother, James M. Blakely, two sisters, Jennifer (Franklin) Thompson, and Cindy (Ronnie Millirons) Blakeley, and his girlfriend, Karen Slate Gillespie, three nieces and one nephew.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 15, at 2:00 PM in the Cox-Needham Chapel with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.

The family asks that all attendees please wear masks and practice social distancing. If not feeling well or running a fever, please refrain from attending.
