Michael Dewayne Owens Sr. passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the age of 62.
He was born March 9, 1961 in Huntsville, Alabama to Dorothy Baker. Michael Owens was a loving husband of 45 years, a loving father, papa, and great papa. He worked from the age of 15 until his retirement. He loved his job and his family.
Michael Owens never met a stranger that he wouldn’t help, he would help anyone at any time.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Dorothy J., and Roland F. Baker; one brother Randy J. Owens; grandparents Luther and Pauline Owens.
He is survived by Lorraine (Lobo) Owens of Pinnacle, North Carolina; 3 daughters Glenda M. Owens and Tina N. Owens of Cullman, Alabama; Barbara J. Owens of Pinnacle, North Carolina; one son Michael D. and Michelle J. Owens of Portsmouth, Ohio. 11 Grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Michael was greatly loved by his family and will be missed by loved ones.
