Michael Lee Toney Jr.

Mr. Michael Lee Toney, Jr., age 40, Mount Airy, passed away on September 3, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on August 30, 1982, in Beckley, West Virginia to Michael Lee Toney, Sr. and Rosa Lee Hudson

Michael worked in construction and knew God.  He was a man of many talents and had the ability to quote the Bible for many situations.  Michael had a heart of gold and enjoyed fishing, tattoos and, especially, orange popsicles.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Toney; children, Brianna Toney, Danielle Toney, Makaila Toney, Kassie Toney, Kadence Toney, Karlie Toney, and Kayson Toney; four grandchildren; father and stepmother, Michael and Cynthia Toney.; mother, Rosa Hudson; sister, Melissa Toney; mother-in-law, Lisa Norman; uncle, Henry Hudson; many nieces and nephews who thought the world of him; and lots of friends.

In addition to grandparents, Michael was preceded in death by his sister Michelle Newman; uncle, William Hudson, Jr.; sister-in-law, Kayla Mayes; and many other aunts and uncles.

Michael can be viewed at Cox-Needham Funeral Home on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.
