Mitchell Gwynn Obituary

Mr. Mitchell Lee Gwynn, age 45, of Mt Airy passed away on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Forsyth County to David Guynn and Sylvia Diane Hall Gwynn.  He was self-employed and worked as a handy man.  Mitchell always loved tinkering with anything mechanical and scooters.  He taught his boys to “Keep it real 100% of the time.”  His sons were his pride and joy.  Mitchell was well loved among family and friends and would do anything for a stranger.

He is survived by his parents David Mitchell Guyn(step-mom Jonnie)Sylvia Diane Hall McHone( step-father Mike Mchone) two sons Mitchell Edwards (Megan), Morgan Edwards; grandmother Sarah Jane Bennett, step-grandmother, Glenda Hall,  three sisters: Jenny Vernon, Melissa Ayers (Mike), and Brenda Hazelwood.  He has one brother, David Ray.  Two nieces Vanessa Glueck, and Haley Hazelwood; three nephews Travis Dalton, Austin Vernon, and Nikki Hazelwood, and a host of other family and friends.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his son, Michael Edwards;  grandparents; Curtis and Freida Guynn. and Roy Hall.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday September 10, 2021 at 6:00pm -8:00pm at the Longhill Community Building, 161 Community Road Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
