Moir Junior Nelson

Moir Junior Nelson, Jr., 85, of Pilot Mountain, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on November 18, 2019.  He was born in Stokes County to Moir and Geneva Bullins Nelson on May 19, 1934.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy May Wallace Nelson; three sons, Moir Henry Wallace, Ricky Junior Nelson, and Jeffrey Lee Nelson; three brothers, Calvin Nelson, Leroy Nelson, Jimmy Nelson; one sister, Verla May Nelson; five grandchildren, Katherine Nelson, Robert Nelson, Crystal Nelson, Pam Nelson, and James Henry Junior Nelson; and several great grandchildren.

Mr. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James Robert Nelson; four brothers, Kelly Monroe Nelson, David Nelson, Paul Nelson, Joseph Nelson; and one sister, Lucille Nelson Sheppard.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 4:00 in the Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel.  Dear friend to Mr. Nelson, and deacon, James Shumate, will be officiating.
