Nancy Leigh Tucker

Ms. Nancy Leigh Tucker, age 89, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Life Brite Community Hospital of Stokes.

She was born on February 23, 1932, to the late Jasper C. Tucker and Agnes Sisk Tucker.

Ms. Tucker graduated from Pilot Mountain High School, was of the Primitive Baptist faith, and retired from Hanes Hosiery.

She loved spending time with, and was beloved by her family, who enjoyed the delicious food she prepared for the holidays.Nancy enjoyed entertaining and was thought of highly by her neighbors

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jasper C. Tucker and Agnes Sisk Tucker; one sister,

Ephegene (Emory) Mabe; five brothers, J. C. (Rada Boyles) Tucker, Clyde (Trudie Mabe) Tucker, Clifton (Clarice Bullins) Tucker, Oren (Bertie Cagle) Tucker, and Louis (Irene) Tucker.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who cherish the memories they shared with her.

There will be a funeral service on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. with Elder Lowell Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends and visitation will commence one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel.Interment will follow in Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be required.
