Ms. Norma Lee Lankford Wright, age 89 of King, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Rose Tara Senior Living.
She was born on May 24, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Jess Lankford & Mozelle Creed Lankford.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving sons, Ronald (Cindy) Wright & Glenn (Melanie) Wright; step-daughter, Sharon (Doug) Wiles; step-son, Randy (Tammy) Wiles; her sister, Vicky Farrior; her grandchildren, Ben (Natalie) Wright, Rusty (Misty) Wright & Jennie (Jason) Smith; as well as her great-grandchildren, Miles Wright, Millie Wright, McKenzie Wright, Landon Wright, Roman Smith, Dean Smith & Ollie Smith; as well as a special friend, Marie Joyce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joby Wright & Glenn Wiles; her sisters, Beulah Hooker & Barbara Medley; & two step-sons, Mike Wiles & Andy Wiles.
Ms. Wright worked at Hanes Hosiery & was a loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, as well as a sister & devoted wife. Norma was a hard worker on the job & at home. She kept her house & yard immaculate as long as she was able. She was very talented; she sewed her own clothes & could crochet anything. She really enjoyed being outside.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
