Oral Samuel Wright

Oral  Samuel Wright, age 59, of Pilot Mountain passed away on February 22, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on February 24, 1960 in Surry County to the late William Burton Wright and Elsie Francis Willard Wright.

Mr. Wright worked  in the furniture industry and loved to play Battle Pirates online with friends from around the world. He also served his country honorably as a soldier in the US Army.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia and four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Davlon Annette Rutherford.

 A memorial Service willl be conducted at Cox-Needham Chapel on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 1:00pm with Rev. Sarah Carper Morris officiating
