Patricia Smith Obituary

Patricia Ann Ayers Smith passed away peacefully on the afternoon of July 18, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Born on February 11, 1965, Patricia was known for her warm smile and generous spirit, which she shared with many as a dedicated waitress and bartender throughout her life.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Elwin Smith, and her cherished grandchildren: Charles "JR" Ayers, Jr., Emily Marie Ayers, Maryann Elizabeth Ayers, and Christian Ann Ayers. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Charles "Chuck" Stewart Ayers.

A memorial service will be held at Cox-Needham Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 3:00pm with Pastor Charlie Kennedy officiating.
