Patricia Joyce Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Joyce, age 77, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born on June 23, 1944, in Surry County North Carolina, to the late Cranford Ray Gravitte and Ophelia Boyd Gravitte.
Mrs. Joyce worked as a homemaker and loved Jesus with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband Billy Ray Joyce, as well as her sons Kendel Duane Joyce and wife Rachel of Salisbury, North Carolina and Monty Kliff Joyce and wife Tonya of Rural Hall, North Carolina, and daughter Kimbyl Glea Goad and her Husband Marion of Mount Airy, North Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Brandon, Taylor, and Savana Joyce; Avery, Kaleb, Luke, and Abram Joyce; Emma, Ava, and Maddie Light. She is survived by her brothers Hylton Jones Gravitte of Mt. Airy and Witchia Ray Gravitte and his wife Patricia of Pilot Mountain.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Joyce was predeceased by her brother James C. Gravitte.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home with Rev. Robin Johnson officiating. Mrs. Joyce will lie in state Saturday, January 22, 2022, thru Monday, January 24, 2022, at the funeral home from 8:30am – 4:30pm, weather permitting. Interment will be at Hills Presbyterian Church in Pilot Mountain directly following the service.
