Polly Lou (Bruner) Pratt

Mrs. Polly Lou Pratt, age 91, of Siloam, passed away on September 23rd, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born on June 25th, 1933, in Surry County, to the late Johnny Gray and Lucy Ashburn Bruner.

Mrs. Pratt was married to her loving husband for 69 years before his passing in 2020. She was an active member of Rock Hill Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She loved music and singing in the choir. She also loved baking pies and sharing them with her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Terry Pratt (Kim); one brother, Johnny Bruner (Patsy).

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pratt was preceded in death by her husband Joseph William “Billy” Pratt; and son, Joe Pratt; sisters, Molly Moore and Dottie Chilton.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 27th, 2024, at 11:00am at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Skyline Memory Gardens.
