Raleigh Winford Coins

Raleigh Winford Coins, age 81, of Pinnacle, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday afternoon, September 6, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 13, 1942, to the late Hillery Leftwich Coins & Stella Simmons Coins.

Raleigh is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Lee Reynolds Coins; sons, Randy Coins & wife Elaine, & Ricky Coins & wife Donna; daughter, Brenda Coins Sandlin; daughter-in-law, Nowel Coins; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Coins; sisters, Linda Cook, Kathy Horton, Betty Jo Collins, Alma Jean Stilly, and Dora Danley; & many other cherished relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Coins was preceded in death by his son, Clarence David Coins; brothers, J.C. Coins and Edward Coins. 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home, with visitation an hour prior to the service. Following the service, Raleigh will be laid to rest at Cedar Hill Primitive Baptist Church.  Services will be officiated by Pastor Thomas Bailey & Pastor Ric Brogdon.
