Ricky Allen Cook

Ricky Allen Cook, 57, of Mount Airy, passed away at his residence on April 30, 2020. He was born June 24, 1962, the son of William Luther and Della Fain Cook.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Bill, of Ocala, Florida; a daughter and son-in-law, Brandy (Cecil) Odum, of Mount Airy; a son, Ricky Allen Cook, Jr., of Spruce Pine; a sister, Joyce Hawks, of Mount Airy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, W.L. (Lisa) Cook, Junior (Judy) Cook; two grandchildren, Adrin Odum and Deanna Odum; and a very special furry friend, Gracie.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Della Marie Young; a daughter, Jessica Cagle; grandparents, John and Myrtle Fain; and two nephews, T. H. Hawks and William Cook. 

The family will hold a memorial service at a date to be announced.  Nephew, Kenneth Hawks, will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations towards funeral expenses would be deeply appreciated.  They may be mailed to 408 Hadley Street, Mount Airy, NC 27030 in c/o Joyce Hawks.
