Robert N. Brown, Jr.

Mr. Robert N. Brown, Jr., age 77, of King, passed away on May 4th, 2023, at his home.

He was born on January 3, 1946, in Bland, Virginia, to the late Robert and Alma Brown.

Mr. Brown worked as carpenter and was of a member of the King Christian Center.  He was a proud veteran of the US Army and loved hunting and fishing.  Most of all, Mr. Brown enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Dorsett with husband Wayne, Rebecca Dawn Brown, and Rhonda Elaine Moore with husband Anthony; son, Robert Dwayne Brown; sister, Mary Ann Martin; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Lillie Elizabeth Williams Brown; daughter, Paula Denise Brown; one brother, Ricky Brown; and one sister, Marsha Brown.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2:00pm at Cox-Needham Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randall Smith and Bro. Darius Collins officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens
