Rev. Robert Ray Caudle, age 66 of King, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 11th.
Mr. Caudle was born on March 24, 1956 to the late Jimmie & Hazel Nelson Caudle.
During life, Rev. Caudle held several jobs, but his favorite & life-long passion was ministry. He was a Pentecostal minister for over 30 years in Winston-Salem. He was also a very talented musician, he could play any instrument that had strings. He loved playing bluegrass gospel music. He loved spending time with his granddaughters, that he lovingly called “his girls.”
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Anita Kay Beasley Caudle; his son Phillip Ray (Jillian Scott) Caudle; his grandchildren Caroline, Kathryn, Laura & Charleston; his brothers & sisters Darrell (Pam) Caudle, Vickie Beauchamp & her late husband, Tony; his nieces & nephews Sydney (Chase) Vaden & Josh Caudle; two special cousins Bonnie Foy of Texas & Ann Stafford of Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Granny Annie & Tommy Caudle.
A memorial service for Rev. Caudle will be held at 6:30pm on Thursday, December 15th at Cox Needham Funeral Home. A visitation with the family will be held from 5:00pm until 6:00pm before the service. Bishop Adrian C. Ramey will be officiating the service.
