Robert Alan Collicott, 62, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2024, in Pilot Mountain, NC. Born on July 26, 1962, Robert, affectionately known as "Uncle," was a beloved figure in his community and family. His life was marked by his vibrant personality and eclectic interests, from holiday decorating to attending festivals and savoring good food at wineries.

Robert earned an MBA from the University of Central Florida, a testament to his dedication to learning and excellence in his field.  His career built a successful career as a Financial Analyst at Synergem, where his hard work was highly valued by both colleagues and clients. Despite his professional commitments, he always found time for his true passions. These included spending time with family and friends, his involvement with the Surry Arts Council and his love for movies, theatre, games, and music.

Family was the cornerstone of Robert's life. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Jim McClelland; nephew and wife, Brad and Christy McClelland; niece, Ashley Michelle McClelland; great-niece, Haley Foster; and great-great-niece, Zoey Kaye Hawkins. His circle of love and friendship extended to his special friends, Lynn and Sandy Hallman, Linda Brandon, and Barbara Johnson. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Mack and Alma Reese Collicott.

The services to honor Robert's life will be held at Cox Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain, NC, on Sunday, October 6th at 2 PM officiated by family. In remembrance of Robert's vibrant spirit and his contributions to the arts, a memory tile will be placed at Blackmon Theatre as a donation to the Surry Arts Council.
