Robert Lee Phillips, age 70, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on November 4, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on July 12, 1948 to the late William Riley Phillips, Sr. and Katie Bell Odum Phillips.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Ann Owens Phillips; three daughters, Rebecca Ann (Rick) Lynch, Tammy Darlene (Terry) Honeycutt, and Katie Elizabeth (Terry) Hunt; seven grandchildren, Eve (Mat) Vernon, Chandler Queen, Andrea Honeycutt, Nicholas (Tasha) Honeycutt, Alicia Austin, NyAmber Grizzel, and Pamela Grizzel; three great-grandchildren, Shaylynn Wright, Paisley Nelson, and Oliver Honeycutt; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger (Carlette) Phillips and Clyde (Shelby) Phillips; two sisters, Mary Hodges and Lillie Boyet; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, William Riley Phillips, Jr. and David Michael Phillips.
A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Westfield Baptist Church Cemetery at 2 P.M, with Rev. Brian Chilton officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
