Mr. Robert Roosevelt Tucker, age 68, Winston-Salem, passed away on June 18, 2022, at his home.
He was born on December 19, 1953, in Surry County to the late Roosevelt and Claudia Walker Tucker.
Mr. Tucker spent 18 years working for Hanes Brands before starting his own lawncare and landscaping business.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Mabe Tucker; son, Jason (Heather) Tucker; daughter, Wendy (Jeff) Thompson; stepdaughter, Rendy Creson; grandson, Drew Tucker; granddaughters, Zoe (Scott) Creson, Jessica Thompson, and Kelsey Creson, whose fiancé, Logan Branham was Robert’s right-hand man; sisters, Annie (Leroy) Turney, Faye (Floyd) Lowe, and Darlene (Larry) Tilley; special sisters-in-law, Shirley Patterson, Patricia Mabe, and Teresa Tucker; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by his brothers, Geder Tucker, Tommy Tucker, and Frank Tucker; and his sisters, Lottie Chilton, Agnes Midkiff, Lilllie Midkiff, and Nancy Ashburn.
A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 1pm at the Cox-Needham Funeral Home Chapel in Pilot Mountain and officiated by Pastor Jacob Hall. The family will receive visitors following the service.
