Robert "Jack" Beck

Mr. Robert “Jack” Beck, age 69, of Mt. Airy, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Jack was born on May 29, 1956, in Stokes County to the late Theodore Beck and Ellen Francis Light. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeremy Vincent Beck.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kerry Beck (Mark Chandler); his son, Robert Junior Beck; his stepdaughter Diane Ross; three grandchildren, Dawn Beck, Justin Chandler, and Travis Chandler; one sister, Donna Shelton; and three brothers, Walter Terrell, Harvey Terry, and Curtis Beck. He is also survived by his partner Linda Bowman, his best friend Faye and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Those proceeded Mr. Beck was his beloved wife Mary Francis Beck, his son Daniel Wayne Beck, and a brother-in-law Ramey Shelton. 

No formal services are being performed by Cox-Needham Funeral Home.

The family will host a private service at a later date.
