Ronald Gray Ogburn

Ronald Gray Ogburn, age 83, of King, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2024. Born on June 15, 1941, in Forsyth County, Ronald was the beloved son of the late Paul David Ogburn, Sr. and Adis Urina Dillon Ogburn.

Ronald was a dedicated supervisor at Unique Furniture Co., where he worked for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bettie G. Ogburn; his three children, Randy G. Ogburn (Sonya), Teresa Lynn Overby (Jerry), and Jeff D. Ogburn (Jill); nine cherished grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Ronald is also survived by his sister, Shirley Gordon, and his brother, Paul David Ogburn, Jr. (Joanna), along with his baby, Bubba, who was always by his side.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Cox-Needham Funeral Home, with visitation beginning an hour prior to the service. A private family burial will follow.  Bro. Michael Hewett will be officiating the services.

Ronald will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
