Ronald Leroy Pyatt

Ronald Leroy Pyatt, 77, of Westfield, passed away, August 3, 2021, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. Born November 3, 1943, he was the son of Buford and Dorine Christopher Pyatt. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca (Rodney) Boles, Rhonda (Eric) Trunnell; four grandchildren, Marathon Trunnell, Mina Trunnell, Connor Boles, Emma Lumpkin; one brother, Rick Pyatt; and one sister, Mary Kay Kessinger. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Clara Ann Pyatt; five brothers, Vernon Pyatt, Gerald Pyatt, Wayne Pyatt, Marion Pyatt, Lyndle “Bud” Pyatt; and a sister, Patty Shain.

Ronald was a gentleman of excellent work ethic and devotion to his family. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and went on to enjoy a career as an airplane mechanic at Braniff, Piedmont Airlines, and USAir. Spending time with his family and enjoying being at home and outdoors were his happy times.

A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Collinstown Presbyterian Church in Westfield. The Rev. Rickey Rogers will be officiating.
