Ruby (McMillan) Marshall

Mrs. Ruby Marshall, age 93, of Pinnacle, passed away at Woltz Hospice in Dobson, on May 10, 2022.

Ruby was born on August 20, 1928, in Surry County, North Carolina, to the late Elmer Eugene McMillan and Eva Hooker.

Ruby was active in the church, she was baptized in 2010 and loved her church family, especially Reverend Gerald Jones. She loved gardening and being outside in the sun, and really enjoyed mowing her lawn. When she wasn’t outside gardening and working on her lawn, she was baking cakes.

Ruby Marshall is survived by her son Randy and his wife Teresa Marshall, her granddaughter Helen Miranda Marshall and great granddaughter Ciena, several nieces and nephews and her friends and loved ones at church.

In addition to her parents Ruby was predeceased by her brother Roy McMillan, and sisters Hazel McMillan and Ruth Simpson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 21st, 2022, at Brims Grove Baptist Church at 2:15 pm, with Reverend Gerald Jones and Pastor Dean Barley officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery at Brims Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
