Obituary
Scott Alvin Townsend, age 45, passed away at Wilkes Medical Center on Tuesday January 5, 2022.
He was born March 9,1976 to Angelia Urell Townsend. and the late Dwight Townsend.
Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends, and his cats Luna and Pooka.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Renee Townsend; a son, Zachary Scott Townsend; a daughter, Kristen Yvonne Townsend; three grandchildren, Jackson Lee Townsend, Jordan Lane Townsend, and Jaylen Dean Townsend; a brother, Randy Townsend; and a sister, Tanya Townsend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Townsend.
A service will be held at a later date.
