Sheila Ann (Taylor) Wright

Mrs. Sheila Ann Taylor Wright, age 77 of Westfield, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Friday, January 31, 2025. She was born on November 10, 1947 to the late Herbert William Taylor and Thelma Irene Love Taylor.

Sheila worked as an inspector at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing cards, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Rogene Eads, Susan (Jeff) Medley, and Carrie (Brad) Nichols; her grandchildren, Jesse, Taylor (Dakota), Connor, Kinston, and Cohen; and her great-grandchildren, Luka, Kenadie, Presley, and Averie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Allen Wright.

A funeral service will be held at Brown Mountain Baptist Church on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Eddie Carter. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
