Shelby (Bullington) Sechrist

Shelby Bullington Sechrist, 78, of Pinnacle, NC joined her Lord in Heaven on October 16, 2020 at Universal Healthcare in King. Shelby was born on November 6, 1941 in Surry County to John Wesley and Beulah Alice Dezarn Bullington. Shelby was known by many to have a heart as big as Texas and had such a giving nature that she was naturally loved by all who came to know her. She loved her Lord and enjoyed fellowshipping at church as her health permitted. Her joy in life were her grandchildren and she loved going to the beach with her dear family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, James Quentin (Kellie) Sechrist, Jr.; a daughter, Debbie Sechrist (Mike) Fain, one brother, Johnny (Becky) Bullington; one sister, Phyllis (Donnie) Felts; four grandchildren, Meghan Sechrist, Lauren Sechrist, James Sechrist, III and Michael Fain, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Aubrey B. Bullington and Gary D. Bullington.

The family would like to thank Hospice nurse, Laura Benham for her devoted love and care during their loved ones illness.

A graveside service is planned on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Pilot View United Methodist Church in the Shoals Community with Rev. Ron Chamblin officiating.
